Xornam (pronounced 'ha-num') Apedoe is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Learning & Instruction. Prior to this, She was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the Learning Research & Development Center at the University of Pittsburgh. She received her Ph.D. in Instructional Technology from The University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. She received her BSc. Honors Psychology degree from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta.

Judith L. Pace,
Ed.D.
Department of Teacher Education
Dr. Pace is a faculty member in Teacher Education, and also teaches Qualitative Research to doctoral students. She is the coeditor of two books (see publications). She studies and writes about classroom relationships, curriculum, and teaching in the socio-cultural and political contexts of schooling. Professor Pace earned her doctorate at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She worked as a researcher and professional developer at Harvard Project Zero on efforts such as Teaching for Understanding and the ATLAS Communities school reform project. Before studying and working at Harvard, Judy taught in special education programs and progressive schools in the Boston area.

Dr. Williamson is an assistant professor of teacher education at the School of Education. Formerly the Director of Stanford's Teachers for a New Era project and an instructor in the Stanford Teacher Education Program, Peter completed his Ph.D. at Stanford in Curriculum and Teacher Education. Before coming to Stanford, Peter taught middle and high school English and journalism in San Francisco Bay Area schools, and worked with advocacy agencies focusing on urban youth. His research interests include the teaching and learning of practice, teacher professional development, teacher effectiveness, urban education, and language acquisition.
