Catholic Educational Leadership

The aims of the Catholic Educational Leadership Program are threefold: to offer a scholarly educational program for Catholic school personnel, to build a sense of community among the students and faculty, and to prepare a corps of highly competent and knowledgeable educators for Catholic schools.

Lone Mountain Tower Catholic Educational Leadership students have come to study from the 50 states, as well as many foreign countries throughout the world. The geographic mix of students from Catholic/private K-12 schools, diocesan offices and religious communities study, pray and socialize together to meet the aims of the program which make the Catholic Educational Leadership degree "one with a difference."

Catholic schools offer an alternative in a pluralistic society; they must be strong if we are to succeed as a true democracy, dependent on an educated citizenry. Catholic schools do not have the finances, the resources or the enrollment of their public counterparts, so their strength must come from the excellence of preparation and the dedicated commitment of their personnel. It is USF's goal to ensure both through the Catholic Educational Leadership Program.
