Judy Goodell, Ph.D.

Adult development; life transitions and how people adapt to change; aging and eldership; the relationship between positive psychology and counseling/therapy; spiritual development across the life span; the application of indigenous wisdoms and cross-cultural methods to modern mental health and personal growth.

Terence Patterson

Terence Patterson, Ed.D., ABPP

Terence Patterson, Ed.D., ABPP, is a licensed psychologist and is Board certified in Family Psychology with the American Board of Professional Psychology. He also chairs the USF Institutional Review Board for the Protection of Human Subjects (Research). He is on the boards of professional journals, and has recently published books and articles in his interest areas. Dr. Patterson was President of the Division of Family Psychology of the American Psychological Association in 2001, and is currently active in promoting diversity and competence in specialty areas in psychology.

Research interests and areas of expertise:
Family psychology, ethical issues, and theoretical orientation in psychotherapy.

Christine Yeh, Ph.D.

Research interests and areas of expertise:
Immigrant youth cultural adjustment and negotiations; indigenous healing methods and perspectives; cultural conceptualizations of self, collectivistic coping, and mental health; multicultural school counseling.
