Four departments in the School of Education offer credential programs: Counseling Psychology, Learning and Instruction, Organization and Leadership, and Teacher Education. A small number of these programs are credential-only, but most are pursued in conjunction with a master's degree. This section presents the course of study for each credential option. Click the name of a credential program using the navigation on the left to display its course of study, which will help you select a program or facilitate your semester schedule planning.
Please Note | All Teacher Education credential programs are pursued concurrently with a master's degree. Teaching Credential students may enroll for any of the five M.A. degrees offered by the following departments/programs of the School of Education:
Some courses taken as part of the credential program may be counted toward these degrees. See the appropriate sections of the University catalog or contact the departments directly for additional information.
